7/20/2023 0 Comments Magic lantern canon t1i![]() The particulars for magic lantern long exposures are on this page: Love to hear from anybody else trying to use this camera. ![]() It may be a while before I get out under the stars with this setup since my scope is undergoing major surgery to convert it to a f/2 Hyperstar setup. I verified that the video output works, and I'm thinking about getting a 7-inch HDMI monitor for video-like astronomy. I also got some extra batteries online for $10 each (since they don't last as long as with my T1i). I added a 16GB memory card and several adapters to use various BRAND lenses and my telescopes. Well, I found someone who has (edit - left off mention that this astrophoto is with a canon camera which uses Magic Lantern functions that are also available for the EOS use Magic Lantern to do longer and automated repeat exposures not possible with the stock canon firmware: I asked about using the mirrorless Canon EOS M for astrophotography, but apparently nobody here had used it.
